No respite in Spain

Spain has seen a serious increase in the death toll, leaving the country brutally in a state of total despair. It has witnessed a rise of seventeen per cent in the time frame of last twenty four hours.

The death toll in Spain now stands at 5,600. Meanwhile, the total number of infected cases now is over 72,248 at present.

Spain is one of the worst affected regions in Europe. It stands in the second position after the European country of Italy.

A new report indicates that not everything is worrisome for Spain. Paving way for the rise of the ray of hope, the recovery rate has marked a tremendous increase lately. So far, as many as 12,285 have recovered from the virus – at least 2,928 in the recent past. The recovery rate has marked a sharp rise of thirty one per cent.

Spain has recently stepped up its efforts to counter the virus – which has brought havoc to the world.

Kidnapped French charity workers released in Iraq

At least four members of a charity group based in France, who were kidnapped in January, have tasted the sweetness of freedom.

The release has come a day after France announced its decision to withdraw its troops from Iraq because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The charity group, which works for the betterment of people of a particular religious community, has expressed its happiness in the release of its members.

At this moment, it remains unclear why the members of the group were kidnapped. It is also unclear who carried out the act.

Notably, no group has so far claimed responsibility of the kidnap. As the decision has come after the French government’s decision to withdraw its troops from Iraq, it is assumed that the kidnap has some links with the stationing of the French troops in the Iraqi soil.

The information of the release has been publicised by the French government. It said it had done everything possible to achieve this release. It has also thanked the Iraqi government.

Turkey to prosecute 20 Saudis over Khashoggi’s murder

Turkey has filed a chargesheet against at least 20 Saudis over the brutal murder of renowned journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.

As per the chargesheet developed by Turkey – which was the first country that identified the involvement of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman in the murder, at least eighteen of those who appear in the chargesheet have direct involvemet in the crime carried out allegedly with the blessings of the Crown Prince inside the Saudi embassy situated in Istanbul, and the rest two faces the charge of instigating the murder.

The chargesheet supports the west’s observation that the Saudi Prince or those close to the prince have a connection with the crime.

Mr. Khashoggi, who was a Saudi by origin, and who was known for his political writings about the Saudi Arabian politics, was a very vocal critic of the Saudi Crown Prince.

The last time he was seen alive was when he entered into the Saudi embassy based in Istanbul to do some paperworks for his marriage. His fiancé was outside the embassy then. She was the one who alerted the Turkey authorities about the missing.

Father Berardelli: The True Symbol of Humanity

An Italian priest, Father Giuseppe Berardelli, is the talk of the day. Though he is not more in this world, his story of humanity continues in the heart of human forever.

Had he not given the respirator, purchased for him by his parishioners, to a patient, much younger than him, he might have escaped from the clutches of death.

In reality, with his divine act, what he did is a noble contribution. That young life he saved is enough to show the world the relevance of empathy.

People like Father Berardelli are what that prompts us to defy the theories prompt us to look for God in certain celestial regions – and what that encourages us to believe in the theory that advises us to look for God in those who care for others.

In this hard time, stories like this are to be given greater importance to enrich the world with confidence and hope.

Whatever harder the present is there is a beautiful future ahead.

IOC to decide fate of Olympics soon

Soon, the International Olympic Committee is set to decide the fate of the 2020 Olympics and Paralympic Games – which is scheduled to commence on 24th July, 2020.

Several countries have expressed their concern about the Olympics on the wake of the virus outbreak. Some countries have requested the IOC to postpone the Olympics.

Notably, Canada has withdrawn from the Olympics.

There is a chance that other countries – particularly those who have been affected severely by the virus outbreak – follow the path paved by Canada.

The IOC is expected to decide the fate of the 2020 Olympics – which is scheduled to take place in the Asian country of Japan – within the timeframe of four weeks.

As per a latest report, the IOC is not happy with the request seeking the postponement of the Olympics. Anyway, the IOC has not made an official comment about the issue yet.

It is clear that the IOC is under severe pressure to postpone the Olympics.

It was expected that the 2020 Olympics would be the most colourful Olympics. Tokyo started way early to make the event memorable.

It is unfortunate that the efforts made by Japan struggle to meet its fructification for a reason which is not in control of the country – as strange as the outbreak of a disastrous disease.

Germany expands curbs on social interactions

A severe restriction has been brought in on social interactions by the European country of Germany, where more than 18,610 have been found infected with Covid-19.

The country has so far lost at least 55 lives due to the virus outbreak – which has brought the world in a tough juncture.

Last day, German Chancellor Angela Merkel addressed the nation in the form of a televised address. She reminded her people the importance of social distancing. She requested the support of her people to fight the outbreak. She explained how important was the support of people in the task of bringing the rate of the spread of infection to null.

Germany is one of the worst affected countries in the continent of Europe. Still, it has managed to bring the situation under its control to an extent.

As per a latest report, the German chancellor is in the contact list of a doctor who was recently tested positive for Covid-19.

The report says that the chancellor will exercise self quarantine and continue to perform her job requirements from her house itself.

The report adds that the chancellor will be tested every day for at least five days.

Young not immune to Covid-19: WHO

The WHO has expressed its worry about the lack of interest shown by certain youngsters to respect measures launched to contain the spread of the virus outbreak.

Almost all affected countries have advised their citizens to practice certain defensive measures including social distancing to fight the outbreak.

The coronavirus outbreak – which originated in the Asian country of China – is at present a global hazard. Though the Communist Country was initially the epicentre of the outbreak, now the Europe is the epicentre of the outbreak according to the World Health Organisation.

Globally, more than ten thousand people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus outbreak. And, as many as two lakh people have been infected due to the virus.

F1 comes up with a plan to help governments to fight Covid-19

The F1 community has come up with an effective plan to help those governments suffer from the deadly Covid-19 outbreak.

It has decided to support the governments with the supply of ventilators. It is planning to use its engineering platform to the production of this medical equipment.

Ventilators can be used to help patients with breathing difficulty – which is one of the prime symptoms of the Covid-19 virus disease.

The community has not completely publicised the details of the plan. Yet, it has indicted what all things it has already done towards the plan.

It is expected to conduct a detailed discussion with all the important stakeholders to take their effort forward in the right direction.

It is hoped the admirable initiative taken by the F1 community will encourage all the other similar communities support the governments in distress.V

German conducts raids to contain Neo-Nazi movement

The European country of Germany, which is the successor of the dangerous Nazi Germany, has conducted raids in several locations across the country to contain the activities of a group linked to the Neo-Nazi movement.

The high death rate due to the virus outbreak in Italy is said to be due to the existence of the high number of elderly persons in the country.

Italy has already initiated several measures to prevent the spread of the virus, which has created chaos across the world.

If Italy is the worst affected region in Europe, Lombardy, which has lost a huge number of people due to the outbreak, is the worst affected region in Italy.

It was in the Asian country of China the virus outbreak originated. From them, it spread to several other countries – even to the Europe.

China has brought down the outbreak under its complete control. Now, the country is no longer the epicentre of the outbreak.

Recently, the World Health Organisation identified Europe as the epicentre of the virus outbreak.
