Europe: Daily Covid-19 death cases increases by around 40 per cent

The continent of Europe has witnessed a sharp increase of forty per cent in the Covid-19 daily death case load compared to the daily case load the continent witnessed last week.

France, Spain, the UK, the Netherlands and Russia are the worst affected countries in this part of the world.

Some of these countries have already reintroduced certain strict measures necessary to bring down the daily death case load.

The increase has brought a severe stress to the hospital infrastructure of the continent of Europe – which is much more well equipped compared to the same elsewhere in the world.

The Covid-19 infection rate in Russia is alarmingly high. It is high time to find a solution to this crisis.

Italy is one of the first countries which have reintroduced certain tough measures to curb the spread of the dangerous virus.

Sadly, most of those countries which have reintroduced the restrictions have witnessed severe resistance from their local population.

It is clear that a section of society is tired of the restrictions, and are no way willing to tolerate another period of the restrictions.

Turkish Prez urges Turks to boycott French goods

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of the Eurasian country of Turkey, has urged his citizens to boycott goods made in France, which recently toughened its stand on radical Islam.

Mr. Erdogan has criticized the new stand, adopted by France, as an attempt to oppress the Muslim community of the European country.

He has urged the world leaders to protect the Muslim community of the European country of France.

Recently, French President Emanuel Macron asserted that he would go to any extent to protect the secular values his country upholds.

The assertion came at the time his government was facing criticism for its failure to prevent the murder of Samuel Paty, a teacher who was beheaded for displaying a cartoon during a session on Free Speech.

The French President has paid tribute to the murdered teacher.

Protests break out across Italy over Covid-19 restrictions

Belarus opposition threatens government with national wide strike

The Belarus opposition has threated the government with a national wide strike. They have demanded the resignation of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

The European country of Belarus is witnessing a serious political crisis since the Presidential Election which declared Mr. Lukashenko as the winner.

Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya refused to concede defeat. She alleged that the election was not conducted in a free and fair manner.

She demanded a re-election under the monitory of trustworthy international agencies.

Anyway, the Belarus President refused to admit the demands raised by the opposition, and even allowed the security force to expert extreme force to quell the protest.

The national wide strike is the latest attempt by the opposition to oust the leader who allegedly gained the control over the country through an illicit method.

As per a latest report, many workers and students have already responded to the call made by the opposition leader.

Poland uses force against people protesting against court ruling that bans abortion

The Polish government has exerted force against people protesting against a court ruling that bans abortions in the country.

The protest has been witnessed in several regions across the country, including in the Polish capital, Warsaw.

It has been organised outside the official residence of the Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Jaroslaw Kaczynski.

As per the court order, ending the life of a deformed foetus is unconstitutional. According to the order, abortion is only valid in cases of rape or incest, or to protect the mother’s life.

Poland is the country where one of the toughest abortion frameworks exists. The new order is expected to make the framework tougher.

The protest against abortion has taken place not only in Poland, but also across the continent of Europe.

This is not the first time that the country has witnessed a protest in connection with the matter.

The new court order has the backing of the ruling party, as its attempt towards this extent was earlier foiled by a similar protest.

Russia promises to take neutral stand on Nagorno-Karabakh crisis

Armed police foils Journalist Kim’s murder’s prison escape attempt

Armed police have foiled the prison escape attempt of Peter Maden, the jailed submarine builder who was convicted for murdering journalist Kim Wall.

He threatened a prison officer before he has attempted to escape the prison – where he was lodged after he had been convicted.

Soon after he escaped the jail, he has been surrounded by a group of armed police personals.

The group waited few minutes before it has surrounded the escapee as it had to make sure that the escapee was not wearing any explosives.

When he has been caught, he was wearing a think material. The group has initially misinterpreted the material as an explosive.

Ms. Kim’s murder was a very sensational one.

She was found mutilated few days after she had gone with the submarine builder inside one of his submarines.

Had the convict succeeded in his attempt, it would have pasted a bad impression on the entire western world – which is proud of its criminal justice framework.

Over 70 artefacts damaged in Berlin

As many as seventy artefacts have been damaged in the Germany city of Berlin in one of the biggest attacks the city has ever witnessed since the end of the Second World War.

Lately, Attila Hildmann, who is one of the chief proponents of conspiracy theories about Covid-19, has claimed that one of the five museums, the Pergamon Museum, is home to the “Throne of Satan”.
