Danish Police Investigate New Threats at Copenhagen Airport

Danish police are investigating renewed threats targeting air traffic at Copenhagen Airport on Friday, November 6. Authorities said their initial assessment indicated no immediate danger to passengers. Police have maintained a visible presence at the airport while investigating the incident.

The latest threats come after a wave of hoax bomb alerts disrupted dozens of passenger flights across Europe on Thursday. Several aircraft were forced to make unplanned landings, while fighter jets were deployed to escort or intercept planes. The incidents marked a significant escalation following similar threats earlier in the week.

Copenhagen Airport confirmed the police presence but said operations were continuing normally. On Thursday, a military bomb disposal unit searched two aircraft at Denmark’s largest airport following a bomb threat but found no explosive devices. Police have declined to provide further details about Friday’s investigation.
