Spain to allow children to get out of homes

Few days after Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau – who is the mother of two young children – pointed out how the lockdown imposed to curb the spread of Covid-19 made serious physical and psychological impacts on children, Spain has decided to reduce the measures that restricts the free movement of children outside their homes.

The big decision has come at the time several European countries are preparing to bring in some relaxations on their restrictions.

Spain at present the only country in the continent of Europe where there is a restriction on the movement of children in place.

The country recently faced severe criticism for its tough restrictions – especially its restriction on the movement of children.

As per a statement made by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the relaxation will come to effect on 27th April, 2020.

Spain is one of the worst affected country in the continent of Europe. Over 20,000 people have passed away in the country due to the virus outbreak. The outbreak has infected not less than 2,00,000 people.

According to the latest statement of Spain PM, the country has successfully passed the peak and has contained the spread of the disease successfully.
