Briton found guilty of lying about being gang-raped

A British teenager has been found guilty of lying about being gang-raped by a group of Israeli youngsters.

She initially alleged that she was gang-raped by a group of twelve Israeli teenagers when she was in Ayia Napa in Cyprus.

Later, she pulled back her complaint. Actually, she was booked shortly after she pulled back her complaint.

She has been found guilty on a charge of causing public mischief.

She may get at least one year imprisonment. Her lawyers may request for a lenient approach. They may request for a suspended sentence.

The rape allegation created a serious public not only in the UK but also across the entire European continent.

At this moment, it remains unclear why the UK teenager levelled a fake allegation against the group of Israeli teenagers.

The UK teenager, at the time of the withdrawal of the case, said she was forced by the Cypriot police to testify against the group of Israeli teenagers.

That allegation was strongly denounced by the Cypriot police.
