When asking the committee to back the proposal, Bulgarian EU lawmaker Sergei Stanishev said, “The 12th of April is coming and the faith of millions of UK citizens and EU citizens and their right to travel is in our hands”.

Moise Kean, the Juventus striker suffers racist abuse from the home supporters during his team’s Serie A match at Cagliari, on Tuesday night.

“The best way to respond to racism- #notoracism” wrote Moise Kean in his official Instagram. Defender Leonardo Bonucci and Boss Massimiliano Allegri said that Kean should take some of the blame for his celebration.

Allegri said, “He shouldn’t have celebrated in that manner. He is a young man and he has to learn, but certain things from the crowd also shouldn’t be heard”.

“You celebrate goals with your team-mates. He could have done it differently. I think the blame is 50-50. Moise should not have done that and the Curva [fans] should not have reacted in that way”, says Leonardo Bonucci.

The incident happened after England players were subjected to racial abuse in their recent game in Montenegro.

A lawmaker has been officially censured by the Australian Senate for blaming the New Zealand mosque attacks on Muslim migration. Senator Fraser Anning had made his comments on the day of New Zealand mosque attacks which killed 50 people last month.

Lawmakers from across the political spectrum condemned the “inflammatory and divisive” remarks of Anning on Wednesday. Fraser Anning commented that the censure was “an attack on free speech”.

“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program that allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.” these words by Anning made him censured by the Senate.

His colleagues had labelled him “pathetic” and “shameful”. The government and opposition together have made the motion censuring Anning.

The reprimand to be passed by the Senate in the past decade states that Mr Anning’s remarks last month did not reflect the views of the parliament or the Australian people.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to have a meet up with the leader of opposition Jeremy Corbyn. May had previously said that said she wanted to work with the Labour leader to break the Brexit deadlock.

May is trying to bring out a modified version of her withdrawal deal with the EU, with the support of Corbyn, so that she can secure the backing of MPs. Jeremy Corbyn said that he wants a customs union and workers’ rights to be priorities.

MPs’ cross party group is expected to have an attempt to push through legislation to stop a no-deal Brexit.

Theresa May had taken the decision to have a meeting with Corbyn after more than seven hours of talks with her cabinet on Tuesday. Brexiteers in her party, including former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is seemed to be upset with this deal. Boris Johnson had previously accused her of “entrusting the final handling of Brexit to Labour”.

Jeremy Corbyn had said that he is “very happy” to meet Mrs May and recognised his own “responsibility” to try to break the deadlock.

The price of bitcoin shoots up to its highest level in almost five months on Tuesday. The world’s largest cryptocurrency bursts up 17 percent within 30 minutes today.

The bitcoin is a form of electronic cash. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries

This hike will gain credence though, if and when BTC finds acceptance above the former support-turned-resistance of the 21-month exponential moving average (EMA), currently at $5,200.

The Bitcoin could get a reduction of value to $4,400 if signs of bullish exhaustion increase in the next few days.

As a part of the 30th anniversary of the Louvre’s glass pyramid, A huge paper collage had been created by French artist JR in the Paris art gallery’s courtyard on Friday. This artwork had been created with 400 volunteers, with 2,000 sheets of paper.

But on Saturday, the artwork was torned by the visitors walking over it. JR said of his 17,000 sq m (183,000 sq ft) work, “Once pasted, the art piece lives on its own”.

This was really a “disappointing experience” for the Louvre pyramid’s 30th anniversary, says some art lovers to the media.

JR is not a new artist to the Paris’ famous art institution. He had given the pyramid a very different treatment, three years ago, covering it in a giant trompe-l’oeil that made it seem like it had disappeared.

Zuzana Caputova, the Anti-corruption candidate has won Slovakia’s presidential election and became the first female president of Slovakia. Zuzana defeated the high-profile diplomat Maros Sefcovic who was nominated by the governing party, without any political experiences.

Zuzana framed the election as a struggle between good and evil. She gained 58.3 percent of the votes after results from 98.1 percent of voting districts were counted, ahead of European commissioner Maros Sefcovic who took 41.7 percent.

During the vote counting, Zuzana came as the frontrunner for the presidential post. The official results were declared on Sunday by Slovakia’s election commission.

She first achieved renown by prevailing in a decade-long struggle against the situating of a toxic landfill in her hometown of Pezinok. For this she was awarded a 2016 Goldman Environmental Prize. In December 2017, she announced her entry into the emerging political party Progressive Slovakia, and in January 2018, she was elected as a Vice-Chairwoman at the party’s first congress, aiding Ivan Stefunko’s efforts to assure the representation of a credible socially-liberal alternative to the conservative status quo in Slovakia.
