Hollywood star George Clooney and his wife, renowned human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have evacuated their luxury home in Brignoles, southern France, as devastating wildfires continue to spread across the region. The couple, along with their nine-year-old twins Alexander and Ella, left the property amid growing safety concerns.

In a letter addressed to Brignoles Mayor Didier Bremond, George Clooney expressed uncertainty about whether their home would survive the fires. He also conveyed his deep concern for the local community, stating that their priority is the safety of residents and reaffirming that he and Amal remain committed to helping Brignoles recover, regardless of the damage caused.

The Clooneys purchased the vineyard estate in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in 2021 for an estimated €9 million and became French citizens in 2025. As wildfires continue to affect several parts of southern France, emergency services remain on high alert while residents and property owners face ongoing uncertainty.
