The Minneapolis City Council has agreed to restructure the local police department – which faces serious criticisms over its attitude towards the black community of the city.

Recently, an unarmed black man was killed by a white police officer in the city. The incident triggered several waves of protests across the country.

The decision to dismantle the police force, which is the main demand of protesters, has been supposed by at least nine of the 13 councilors of the city council.

Earlier, the demand was dismissed by the city Mayor.

Now, without the support of his council, he may not be able to stick to his original stand over the issue for long.

It seems that in the coming days the city may witnessed several serious debates over how the police office should be restructured.

At this moment, it remains unclear how the restructuring may be implemented by the city. Importantly, the police department has not yet responded to this issue. V

Giving a clear message that the US will no longer sacrifice their wealth for the sake of the wellbeing of the entire western world – particularly their allies in the continent of Europe, the US has announced its plan to reduce the strength of its military capacity in Germany and several other European countries in the continent.

As many as 9,500 American is expected be withdrawn from the country of Germany by the month of September.

Earlier, the US urged their allies in the Europe to contribute more towards the security requirements of the North American Treaty Organisation, making its point clear that it might reduce its spending on the NATO in the near future itself.

The relation between the US and their NATO partners in Europe is at present in its lowest point. Since the induction of Donald Trump as the president of the world’s most powerful country in terms of military might and economic strength, the relation has been consistently worsening.

The withdrawn troops may either be redeployed elsewhere or be asked to return back to their respective base camps in the country, as per a media report published by an International media conglomerate.

It is yet to be seen how the decision will affect the destiny of the global economy.

The European country of the United Kingdom and the North American country of Canada have strongly opposed the suggestion made by the United States of America that Russia should be allowed to reenter the group as a member.

United States President recently announced his plan to postpone the G7 summit until September this year. It was when he addressed a group of media personals to discuss his plan to postpone the summit he expressed his mind about the possible expansion of the G7.

He even called the group an outdated group of countries. He indirectly termed the possible expansion undeniable.

The development has created a rift between the US and those countries which stand with the European liberals.

Recently, Mr. Trump made a telephonic conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, they discussed the possible reentry of Russia to the G7 – which was formerly G8 (until the ouster of the country from the group following its aggressive attitude).

It remains unclear whether the US will impose pressure over the group to allow the reentry of Russia into the group.

If the rift between the liberal countries increases, it may affect the strength of the liberal political platform.

Most European countries are aware about the fact that there is ground in the US’ allegation that China has suppressed certain information about the Covid-19 outbreak – which originated in the Chinese state of Wuhan few months back.

Still, unlike the North American country of the United States of America which has taken an aggressive stand against the Asian country, most European countries, it seems, has decided to take a lenient stand in the issue.

Recently, China reversed the total death toll due to the virus outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan, making the figure almost double the previous figure.

Nonetheless, China has not yet admitted that some mistakes have occurred due to the way they have handled the outbreak. The country has denied all report which indicate a systematic cover-up.

The latest reversal of the figure has been justified using the argument that several deaths that have happened outside the hospitals in the region have failed to enter the initial report due to various reasons.

At present, the Europe and the US stand in two different plains over whether China should be made liable to the loss the world has suffered due to its attitude of cover-up.

It may not take long before these two powerful factions come in a same plane to decide the fate of the world’s most populated country.

The European country of Germany has accused the North American country of the United States of America of ‘Modern Piracy’, as the latter has been provocatively redirected 200,000 Germany-bound masks for its own use.

The masks were ordered for the Berlin police department.

A senior minister based in Berlin has lashed out at the US for its provocative act at the time the world is undergoing a serious crisis. His assumption is that the masks were directed at the behest of the US government.

The US recently invoked a Korean-War-era law which makes the country easier to control how the companies operate in the country function.

The US has not yet commended on this matter. It is unclear at this moment how the move is going to affect the relation between Germany and the United States.

A French book linked the infamous 11 September 2001 terrorist attack on the United States to the Central Intelligence Agency, the intelligence agency controlled by the US federal government.

The publisher has later apologised for his mistake. The publisher has admitted the phrase that links the CIA to the 9/11 as a mistake.

The phrase is going viral in social media. It has come to the attention of the public after it was pointed out by certain school teachers based in the country.

The theory that links the Central Intelligence Agency to the 9/11 attack is a debunked conspiracy theory.

The book is supposed to be learned by undergraduates. The publisher is yet to explain how such a serious error occurred in the book.

The US has not yet formally commended about the issue. The CIA is likely to strongly denounce the phrase appeared in the French history textbook. Definitely, for an agency like the CIA which dedicatedly works for the betterment of the US, what was appeared in the textbook is a humiliating phrase.

At this moment, it remains unclear whether the publisher will take any step to remove the books which carry the wrong phrase entirely from the market. A strong demand is likely to rise from the US towards that direction.

The European country of Russia and the communist country of China have asked the United Nations to free the iron curtain country of North Korea from the clutches of economic sanctions.

All talks, conducted so far between the US and North Korea to bring peace to the Korean peninsula, have gone unsuccessful.

Russia and China are close partners of North Korea. They always stand with their all-time partner.

The International sanctions make it difficult for Beijing and Moscow to support Pyongyang – which is at present under a severe economic crisis.

Though China and Russia demand a complete removal of sanctions, if the UN gives a slight relaxation to North Korean’s coal, iron, iron ore and textile exports, they may agree without pushing anything further.

North Korea recently upgraded its nuclear capacity further. It asked the US to come up with a feasible agreement within this year.

Actually, Russia and Chine present the new demand as a humanitarian concern. The demand is presented as an effort to improve the standard of living of the people of the iron curtain country of North Korea.

It is yet to see whether the issue will be viewed though humanitarian angle or through security angle by the United Nations – more accurately, the other core members of the UN.

Those social media accounts used to leak some sensitive documents pertain to the UK-US trade talk has been taken down by the online platform which was used to do the act.

It was Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn who brought the attention of the common public of the European country of the United Kingdom at first to the leaked documents.

He quoted the documents during a campaign session recently. He used the documents to justify his comment that the present UK government tries to sell the country’s National Health Service.

The documents had appeared in the social media platform at least a month before the Labour leader quoted those in the said campaign.

The social media platform has found the links the leaked documents have with some accounts based in Russia.

The majority of those accounts that has been taken down are those which have links with Russia. The social media suspects the action as a coordinated effort.

Meanwhile, the Labour Party has called the leak a positive act.

The leak is expected to give a serious blow to the, already embattled, Conservatives.

The big question that remains is whether the Labour Party will be able to use the leak in its favour in the upcoming election in the United Kingdom.

A new statement made by France President Emanuel Macron clearly indicates that the European country of France is unhappy with the protectionist attitude of the United States of America.

As the NATO members are at the doorstep of a crucial meeting, the statement made by France is of great importance.

Beneath the statement lies a clear message that France no longer trusts the security offered by the US.

Its advice for Europe is crystal clear. It wants to see a European army formed, against the interest of the NATO leader.

The root of the crisis lies in the disinterest of the US to use its money for the betterment of the NATO and to engage more with its NATO allies.

The change of attitude was evident when the US reduced its spending on the NATO budget imposing pressure on its allies to spend more on the said budget and when it decided to pull out its force from Syria, paving way for the aggression of Turkey, without discussing the decision with its NATO partners.

Though Germany’s decision on this matter is not different, it is not that adamant as that of its neighbour.

Undisputedly, a European army is a German dream too.

From an aggressive China and an unpredictable Russia to a protective US, Germany and France are no short of reason for the consideration of their dream plan.
