An 80-year-old pedestrian is killed when an e-scooter hits her

After an e-scooter hit a pedestrian in Dublin in her 80s, the pedestrian died, and the Irish police, known as Garda, have made a plea for witnesses.

The event, which happened on Eccles Street at around 13:00 BST on June 20, is currently the subject of an inquiry.

After being transported, the woman passed away at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. A post-mortem investigation is scheduled.

After being detained, a guy was later let go. To the Director of Public Prosecutions was to be forwarded a file.
