CCT 2026 Brings Professionals Together Through Cricket
The Celebrity Cricket Tournament (CCT) 2026 showcased a different side of professional excellence by bringing doctors, lawyers, engineers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders and media personalities together on the cricket field. Held on October 11 at Rajagiri College Ground the tournament was organised by Pegasus Global Pvt. Ltd. in association with Unique Business Club (UBC) and the Federal International Chamber Forum (FICF).
Established in 2017 by Dr Ajit Ravi Pegasus, CCT was originally conceived as a cricket competition for directors, actors and producers. Over the years, the concept has evolved to celebrate real-life heroes whose everyday contributions often go beyond public recognition. The 2026 edition continued this vision through the participation of four teams: Crick-IT Cricket Club, Cochin Ortho Warriors, Kerala Lawyers XI and TCS. The tournament provided an opportunity for professionals from different sectors to connect through teamwork, competition and a shared love of cricket.
The final saw Crick-IT Cricket Club defeat Kerala Lawyers XI by 26 runs. Batting first, Crick-IT scored 150/3 in 12 overs, with Navaneeth R delivering an outstanding 52 off 20 balls to earn Player of the Match honours. Vijin added 37 runs off 18 balls. Kerala Lawyers XI responded with 124/8, with Ahad scoring 43 off 23 deliveries. Captain Ajith Divakaran led the bowling effort with three wickets, supported by Prasanth Sharma and Rahul Mohandas, who took two wickets apiece. TCS secured third place, while Cochin Ortho Warriors finished fourth.
Supported by partners including Nandilath G Mart, Gokulam Kerala FC, Bright Outdoor Media Solutions and DQUE Watches, the event also received medical support from VPS Lakeshore Global Lifecare and St. Joseph’s Hospital Trust, Manjummel. ONSITE 360 joined as associate partner. Beyond the results, CCT 2026 reinforced the importance of recognising professionals not only for their achievements in their respective fields but also for the spirit, dedication and teamwork they bring to sport and society.
