Raja Casablanca of Morocco Facing Elimination

The CAF Confederation Cup trophy-holders Raja Casablanca are about to face an elimination unless they win a match with AS Otoho Oyo in Congo Brazzaville. This game is deciding whether Raja Casablanca can get a chance to reach the quarter-finals AFP/File.

The team had played four games and lost one in Group A. This leads to a final match-day clash with second-place AS Otoho Oyo in Owando Sunday.

Even if the Casablanca team wins this match with Otoho Oyo in Owando, they cannot directly enter into the quarter-finals, unless already-qualified Berkane avoid defeat away to another Moroccan side, Hassania Agadir.

Patrice Carteron, a Frenchman is coaching Raja Casablanca. This sports club with sections in many different disciplines in Casablanca, was founded in 20 March 1949 as part of the political struggle against French rule by nationalists.
