The European Union court has reminded Spain about the necessity of offering immunity from detention to Member of European Parliament Oriol Junqueras, who is under the custody of his country for his role in the Catalan separatist moment.

As per the Spanish law, newly elected MEPs should take an oath on the constitution of the country.

Spain has not yet allowed the imprisoned MEP to take such an oath. Not only Mr. Junqueras has been denied the right to take the oath, several other Catalan leader, who was charged with the charges similar to those charges against the aforesaid MEP, have been disallowed to undergo the procedure.

The EU court states that since the moment Mr. Junqueras became the MEP he deserves the protection of immunity.

The court’s directive is expected to force Spain to take a lenient stand on the MEPs, who were denied the right to take oath for their participation in the, so called, separatist movement.

The Supreme Court of the European country of Poland has expressed its concerns about the recently proposed judicial reforms of the government.

The court has warned the Polish government of serious consequences. It said if the proposal was implemented the country would have to leave the European Union.

Meanwhile, the Polish government has dismissed the concerns raised by the top court of the country. It said the country’s judicial system had not yet recovered fully from its communist hangover.

The polish government has justified the proposed judicial reforms as an effort to help the judicial system to recover completely from its communist hangover.

The European country of Poland was under the clutches of communism for several years in the past.

The present government is of the opinion that the country has not yet recovered fully from the clutches of the communist hangover.

The EU has not yet responded to the issue. No European superpower has commented on the issue either.

The confrontation between the Polish government and its judicial system is not a new thing. Since the induction of the present government, it is in a bad relation with the country’s judicial system.

The new proposal allows the government to push with serious punishment including dismissal those judges who, the government thinks, intervenes in the politics of the country.

International Relations News

The European country of Russia and the communist country of China have asked the United Nations to free the iron curtain country of North Korea from the clutches of economic sanctions.

All talks, conducted so far between the US and North Korea to bring peace to the Korean peninsula, have gone unsuccessful.

Russia and China are close partners of North Korea. They always stand with their all-time partner.

The International sanctions make it difficult for Beijing and Moscow to support Pyongyang – which is at present under a severe economic crisis.

Though China and Russia demand a complete removal of sanctions, if the UN gives a slight relaxation to North Korean’s coal, iron, iron ore and textile exports, they may agree without pushing anything further.

North Korea recently upgraded its nuclear capacity further. It asked the US to come up with a feasible agreement within this year.

Actually, Russia and Chine present the new demand as a humanitarian concern. The demand is presented as an effort to improve the standard of living of the people of the iron curtain country of North Korea.

It is yet to see whether the issue will be viewed though humanitarian angle or through security angle by the United Nations – more accurately, the other core members of the UN.

What Russia wants its citizens to believe is that Vladimir Putin is the solution to all their problems.

Russian media, controlled by the government, often runs glorified stories on how people in the country get chance to appeal directly to their president and get their issues solved.

In the video published by a renowned media house based in the United Kingdom, two different testimonies capable enough to expose the fake face of the Russian president are included.

The first testimony is of a woman live in Khakassia located in Eastern Siberia. In the video, she is seen recounting how her fire-affected village was repaired by the government swiftly when she appealed to the president directly.

Contrary to the first testimony, what the second testimony gives is a different story. The second testimony is of another woman whose husband was jailed by the Putin-led government. Her testimony describes how her husband, a police enforcement officer, was illegally imprisonment by the government on the fake charges of corruption and official secrete revelation for his attempt to expose the nexus between the criminal gangs and the political system though his online handle – unlike the first woman who approached the state-run media to express her grievance.

A Finnish minister, Katri Kulmuni, who received serious criticism for her controversial comment regarding the matter of the repatriation of women and children from the Kurdish-led camp for the foreign IS sympathisers in Syria, has withdrawn her comment from the social media handle she maintains in the popular social media platform of Instagram.

She, earlier, through her handle, asked her followers to leave their opinion on whether only children should be repatriated or both mother and children should be repatriated.

At least more than three dozens of women and children in the camp, named al-Hol, are from Finland.

The country’s politicians are divided over whether women live in the camp should be repatriated or not, though there are no dispute among them on the view that children in the camp are the victims of the war against the ISIS and they should be repatriated at the earliest.

The politicians of Finland are worried about the potential damage that can be made to the nation if the radicalised women are simply repatriated without the assistance of a proper deradicalisation process.

The people in the camp live in a very poor condition. They are highly vulnerable to diseases, hunger and many related issues, as they live with limited resources.

Many western countries have already repatriated their citizens from the camp.

Offering a befitting replay to the opposition, mainly the Labour, which tried to create a dark cloud around the matter of Brexit, and extending an assuring hand to the ruling which remains confident about leaving the economic union of European Union in the near future, the electorate of the United Kingdom has offered an astounding victory to the Conservative Party, increasing its number from around 317 to more than 364 – that is, at least 47 seats more than what they secured in the previous election.

Responding to the preliminary trends, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, visibly happy about the way the people of the country has responded his call for support, has promised, giving no space for the growth of any speculation or dark cloud, to take the UK out of the EU in the promised date itself.

The case of the Labour Party is pathetic, with its losses even in its traditional strongholds. The main task before them at this moment is to explain their supporters what that has gone wrong.

Literally, all those who opposed the Brexit have suffered the ire of the electorate. It is evident from the election result. Among those, the Labour, which had no clarity about the topic, is the one which has tasted the bitterest experience.

The United States President, Donald Trump, is the first leader who has come out to congratulate the winner.

He has appreciated Mr. Johnson for his victory and expressed his hope of forging a closer tie with the UK post the Brexit.

He, in his statement, has hinted about the depth of the deal the UK may reach with the US post the Brexit.

Apart from Mr. Trump, several other world leaders like German Chancellor Angela Merkel have congratulated Mr. Johnson.

What the verdict says is simple: The people of the state want Brexit and they want it now itself.

Today, it is a big day for the UK. The entire UK is at present in the polling stations across the country to decide who should rule their country in future. Along with the future of the present government, the British people today will also decide indirectly whether the UK should be allowed to pull back from the European Union. In that sense, the ongoing election is the second referendum on Brexit.

All the three main political parties, the Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats, have attached their campaign close to the matter of Brexit. When the Conservatives has promised a swift withdrawal of the UK from the EU, the Labour has pledged to seek the opinion of the people of the country on the matter of Brexit again in the form of a second referendum on the hope that the ongoing political turbulence may have changed the mind of the people who earlier cleared the Brexit proposal with a narrow margin.

At the same time, the Liberal Democrats have taken an entirely different stand. It has stongly opposed the idea of Brexit and assured the scrapping on Brexit.

As per a preliminary report, no political party is likely to get a clear majority in the parliament in the latest election. The report also predicts the loss of strength of the Conservatives in the election.

At present, the Conservatives has more than 43 per cent vote share in the country and the Labour has less than 34 per cent. And, the Liberal Democrats has over 12 per cent vote share.

If the Conservatives’ strength comes down below the majority line, then the Brexit will be a much harder thing to achieve.

Anyway, speaking to the media personals, British Prime Minister and Conservative leader Boris Johnson has expressed his confidence in winning the election with a huge majority.
