Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer expressed that the cancellations would be a “bitter disappointment for all fans,” but emphasized the seriousness of the situation. Vienna police chief Gerhard Pürstl stated that approximately 65,000 attendees were expected each day, with an additional 22,000 fans anticipated outside the venue. Investigations are ongoing.
