One crore children in need of assistance in Afghanistan: UNICEF

UNICEF says one million children in Afghanistan need help UNICEF estimates that one million children may be life-threatening this year.

David Beasley, executive director of the United Nations Food Program, warned that 1.40 million people in the country were without food security as Covid came along with years of drought, conflict and economic collapse. Meanwhile, the World Bank has stopped funding Afghanistan.
