Spainish King renounces inheritance from his father
Spanish King Felipe VI has renounced the inheritance from his father, Juan Carlos, who is the former king of the European country of Spain.
The former king, who had been ruling the country for not less than 39 years, abdicated in the year 2014.
During this regime, he faced several serious allegations. He was criticised then for his extravagant lifestyle.
Importantly, Mr. Carlos will no longer receive the annual grand of 194,000 Euros.
Earlier, it was alleged that he received some illicit fund via Saudi Arabia.
He still faces an investigation in connection with the case.
Neither the Spain king nor his father, the former king, has commended on this matter.
It remains unclear why such a serious decision has been taken by the Spain monarch. It is also unclear how this development will affect the future of the Spanish monarch – which at present passes through a very difficult time.
