The bilateral relation between Egypt and Italy has hit a low point as the former has failed to offer complete corporation to the latter over the latter’s investigation into the kidnap and murder of Italian doctorate student Giulio Regeni, who were researching about the functioning of Egyptian trade unions.

The incident, which has led to the present trouble, happened at least four years ago. Mr. Regeni was allegedly kidnapped by a team of four Egyptian undercover officers. His lifeless body was recovered by a deserted road at least nine days after he had been reported missing. Initially, it was regarded as an accident. Later, it was identified that he suffered severe torture before his death.

The death of Mr. Regeni has triggered a severe uproar in Italy. It has put the Egypt’s dictatorial government in a difficult position.

The Egyptian government has repeatedly denied its involvement in the murder. But it has declined to corporate to the investigation launched by Italy into the case.

Recently, Egypt has decided to close down the case. At the same time, Italy has stepped up its investigation. It has demanded an explanation from the four tainted officers.

The relation between Italy and Egypt is mutual. The present disturbance affects both countries equally.

In a sensitive development concerning the global politics, a human rights organisation has exposed a secretive agreement reached between Switzerland and China in connection with immigration.

The agreement offers Chinese security forces a free run in Switzerland, as per the report developed by the organisation.

The agreement, which were reached for five years, is supposed to end soon.

The organisation has predicted the possibility for the extension of the agreement.

Actually, it is not unusual. Switzerland has similar agreements with several other countries. These agreements attempt to make sure no foreign national stay illegally in Switzerland.

The one related to China empowers Chinese forces to interview illegal immigrants from the Asian country.

As per the opinion of the human rights organisation, what makes the Swiz agreement with China unusual is the fact that unlike other agreements which hand power to immigration officials this agreement offers power to foreign security forces.

The issue is very sensitive in nature. The organisation which has brought the issue to spotlight also is aware of the sensitive nature of the topic. It has presented the necessary evidences to back the allegation which it has levelled against Switzerland and China.

It is high time to erase the dark clouds around the questionable intrusion of China into Europe.

In a shocking report, it is revealed that Syrians were used in the Nagorno-Karabakh war by the European country of Azerbaijan as mercenaries.

The report says that the Syrian mercenaries were recruited at the behest of Turkey. While speaking to media personals, one of those who has been recruited for the war from Syria has reveled that they were cheated by promising lucrative jobs in Azerbaijan. He has alleged that he was promised the job of guard.

There are reports that Armenia also recruited Syrian mercenaries like Azerbaijan. As per the reports, the recruitment process was handled by Russia.

Unsurprisingly, both Russia and Turkey have denounced the reports suggesting their involvement in the recruitment activity.

Likewise, both Azerbaijan and Armenia have declined to accept that they used Syrian mercenaries in the battle for the disputed territory situated between them.

Notably, earlier, there were allegations that Syrians were used in the Libyan civil war.

As per a latest report, at present a recruitment program is going on in Syria for Venezuela.

It is unfortunate that the people of Syrian who were devastated by the Civil War are being exploited.

It is high time to find a solution to the issue.

The European country of France is preparing to bring in a powerful bill to tackle radical Islam, amidst rising criticism against the country’s tougher stand.

In a bold move, the French cabinet has cleared the bill. The bill has come in response to a recent series of attacks by extremists.

The law toughens rules on home schooling and hate speech.

France is at present going through a tough period. In the recent history, the country has witnessed several terror attacks.

The new bill has been projected as a part of the effort put by French President Emmanuel Macron to uphold secular values.    

The bill is not free of criticism. Several people have come forward to criticize the bill. It has been alleged that the bill was being used to target religion.

The French government has denounced the allegation. It has projected the bill as an attempt to free Muslims from the grip of radicals. It has even named the bill as a law of protection.  

The government has asserted the bill was not aimed against any religion.

The European country of France is preparing to reform the security forces. The country is at present witnessing a severe protest demanding the reformation.

French President Emanuel Macron has made a public statement in connection with the matter. He has expressed his intention to bring in the reformation.

The protest has emerged in response to a controversial law seeking to prohibit taking and sharing photos of security officials.

The protest has intensified after a video of police brutality emerged.

Many opposition leaders have expressed their support to the demand raised by the protesters. The opposition has opined that the bill would make it difficult to document police brutality.  

The police officers who were featured in the video which led to the agitation have been charged with charges of intentional violence by a person holding authority.

The French government deserves special appreciation for the way it has reacted to the issue of police brutality.

It is high time to bring in a law to reform security forces. The leaked video, which triggered the protest, proves if the law is not reformed it is easy for the police to take law in their hand.

Denmark Prime Minister has sought the apology of those children who were made to participate in a controversial social experiment in the 1950s.

The experiment was an utter failure. As a part of the experiment, at least twenty-two children from Greenland were uprooted from their homeland, especially from their families. Cruelly, they were denied the right to live with their families.

The Denmark government has apologized to the victims.

The issue came to the spotlight when one of the victims were interviewed by the BBC.

Helene Thiesen has expressed her happiness in the development. She has said that the apology made by the Denmark government meant everything.

Greenland is now an autonomous territory within the kingdom of Denmark and relies on Copenhagen for management of currency, foreign relations and defence, as well as the provision of a large annual subsidy.

The development has opened up a discussion about the matter in several social media platforms. Many have come out openly against the social experiment which went wrong. Some have expressed their happiness in the courage the Denmark government has shown to apologize for the unacceptable social experiment which ruined the lives of as many as 22 children.

The European country of the United Kingdom has begun its ambitious vaccination programme, in a bid to free the country from the threat of Covid-19.

US Prime Minister Boris Johnson has expressed clearly how his government has evaluated the development. He has assured people of a future, free of the threat of Covid-19. He has requested his countrymen to wait patiently for few more months.

Meanwhile, the company, which has developed the vaccine, has expressed happiness in the determination the country has shown to roll out the vaccine programme in this stage.   

It is said that the vaccine is less likely to show an impact immediately. As per a statement, it may take months for the vaccine to prove its true outcome.

It is said that the vaccine does not have any serious side effects. It is boasted that the majority of those who have participated in the trial has experienced either no side-effect or minimal side-effect such as headache.

The UK is not the first European country which has commenced a vaccine program. Earlier, Russia launched its vaccine program.

It was boasted that the vaccine developed by Russia was effective as the one come from the United Kingdom.

The European country of Russia has begun its vaccination program in an attempt to bring the Covid-19 crisis under control. The program has commenced in the Russian capital of Moscow.  

For the program, it uses Sputnik V, a vaccine it developed few months ago. The vaccine is said to be around 95 per cent effective.

The vaccine was originally registered in August. Initially, it was denounced on the ground that it lacked the backing of proper clinal trials.

It is said that the vaccine is still in the stage of mass testing.  

This weekend, thousands of people will receive the first of two jabs.

Recently, a top Russian official indicated that the country would commence its vaccination program soon.

The world is closely watching the development in Russia. It is still not clear how fast Russia will be able to meet its vaccine production target.

As many as two million doses of the vaccine is expected to be produced with in the end of this year.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin recently said in the preliminary stage the vaccine was being offered to people in the city of 13 million who work in schools and the health service, and social workers.

He added that the list would grow as more of the vaccine became available.

The European country of Italy has imposed a strict inter-region travel ban in order to make sure that the Covid-19 crisis does not intensify between 21st December and 6th January.

The ban has been introduced in view of the possible spike in travel during the Christmas week.

As part of the ban, a curfew has also been introduced in the country. A curfew will be in place from 22:00 to 05:00.

The ban is expected to affect almost all services, including restaurants. In some region, takeaways will be allowed.

Italy is one of the worst affected countries in the continent of Europe.

The latest ban is an attempt to minimize the impact of the second wave of Covid-19. The first wave has brought a devastating impact on the country.

“We cannot let down our guard;” says Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, while speaking in a press conference to discuss the matter.

The ban is not to affect medical services and emergency services.

Former French President Valéry Giscard d’Estaing, who ruled the country from the year of 1974 to the year of 1981, has passed away.

At the time of his death, the respected leader was just 94-year-old. He was suffering from complications related to Covid-19.

He has died peacefully at his home in Central France, surrounded by his family.

Mr. d’Estaing, who was a centre-right politician, was known for his progressive policies. He was responsible for the upgradation in certain controversial laws, such as abortion laws and contraception laws and divorce laws.

His seven year in power was regarded as a golden period of the modern political history of France.

French President Emanuel Macron has expressed his sadness about the death of the former President of the country, who transformed the entire country.

The funeral ceremony is expected to take place soon. Only the close family members are expected to attended the ceremony due to the present Covid-19 restrictions.   

Many people have taken to social media platforms to express their sorrow. They have published the picture of the legendary politician in their pages to express their sadness.

France owes this man for several progressive laws which the country enjoys at this juncture. Even the country owes this politician for the progressive direction through which the country is currently walking.
