At the age of 116, Aise Karatai from Turkey defeated Covid
A new history was born in Turkey when a 116-year-old grandmother survived Covid. Aise Karatai is seeking the honor of being the oldest person to be freed from Covid. Son Ibrahim said the mother, who had been in the ICU for 3 weeks, has now been transferred to the normal ward.
The grandmother is now under observation in the general ward after three weeks of treatment in the emergency department. Son Ibrahim told the news agency that his mother was healthy.
Aise is a city in the western Turkish city of Emirdag. Covid was infected after taking a single dose of the Chinese vaccine Sinovac. Aise Karati was born during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan in Turkey.
