Europe has experienced a warm winter this year. The average temperature of this year’s winters has been at least 1.4 C above than the previous year.

Definitely, the increase in the temperature in the continent of Europe is the after-effect of climate change.

Not only this continent, but also the entire world suffers due to climate change at this juncture.

It is high time to formulate an effective universal strategy to counter the issue of climate change.

The Paris Climate treaty was a good beginning. Unfortunately, that does not work in the right direction at this moment. The departure of the US from the climate treaty obligation left the organisation less powerful.

What Europe experiences at this moment is a remainder. The world can no longer remain insensitive about climate change.

It is inhuman to put the burden of our mistake to our successors. It is our duty to keep earth inhabitable for the future generation.

The more love we have in our future generation, the more careful we becomes in the matter of climate change, as the actual victim of this issue is the future generation not the present.

A popular Croatian singer, Josipa Lisac, has been booked as she has presented a distorted version of her country’s national anthem.

The case has been registered in response to a complaint registered by a Croatian lawyer, who has found the distortion of his country’ national anthem by the singer as offensive.

The highly experienced singer, who has more than 53 years experience in the field of music, was the main performer in the latest inaugural function organised to induct the new President.

It is suspected that the case is a politically motivated one.

A singers’ organisation has strongly supported veteran singer Ms. Josipa. It has called the case the questionable intrusion into the freedom of artists.

Many have come forward to support the singer. Almost all social media platforms have been flooded with messages supporting the artist.

Many do not by the argument that the singer has intentionally disrespected the national anthem of her country with her song.

It is a classic case to prove how vulnerable the freedom of artists is in the developed continent of Europe.

It is high time to organise to make sure that the freedom of artists is not scarified at the altar of the new normal of aggressive nationalism.

The country is expected to place the returnees in the Island till they are found unaffected by the virus.

As per a preliminary report, several western countries may follow the step taken by the Australian government, though they are not likely to try what exactly the Australian government has done.

China has geared up their system to its maximum potential. The affected region has almost been quarantined completely.

As per a local report, in some regions in the country, the local people have even set up their own check posts to prevent the entry of the affected people into their territories, in addition to the strict mechanism installed by the Chinese government to detect the affected people.

The present disease outbreak is similar to the one happened with the outbreak of SARS in the country.

China with an advanced medical infrastructure is capable to handle any situation like the present outbreak. It is expected that the country will contain the disease soon.

Since the disintegration of erstwhile Soviet Union, Russia is under the tight grip of Vladimir Putin – the dictatorial leader who knows little nothing about the need to tolerate dissent.

Mr. Putin treats Russia as his property. He has successfully brought the entire country under his direct control, breaking the backbone of all who has stood against his aggressive triumph. He is fearless, intolerant and also merciless. For him, any attack against his politics is an attack against his country, Russia.

Lately, he has brought in some interesting changes to the country. He has made the Russian government resign and injected more powers into the country’s lawmaking house. In addition, he has strengthened the Russia council – which is the body of Russian governors.

Though the measures sound impressive, when these are observed closely it is seen that the President’s ambition to sustain his control over his country is what that sits beneath his new plans.

Putin’s Russia faces many challenges at this moment – in the economical as well as in the military front.

Russia needs to find an urgent solution to its stagnated growth. The European country can no longer turn its back on the criticism raised against the country – from inside as well as from outside.
