German singer Peter Schreier is no more

Popular German singer Peter Schreier has passed away due to some age related ailments in Dresden, where he was enjoying his retirement life.

He was not less than 84. At the peak of his career, he had huge fan following. He was popular for his expressiveness.

Notably, he was the only singer who spent his life in the Communist Germany. He once said he could not leave his hometown.

Until the year 2005, he was active in the industry. Then, he retired from the industry to lead a quite life in his hometown. When asked about that, he once said he had sung enough.

The entire musical industry has expressed its deep sorrow in the demise of the musical legend.

Though he is no more, he always remains in the mind of all music lovers as a sweet memory.
