Europe at present epicentre of coronavirus outbreak
The continent of Europe is at present the epicentre of the coronnavirus outbreak, which originated in the Asian country of China.
Experts have urged the continent to launch severe measures to curb the spread of the disease. Italy and Spain are at present the worst affected regions.
Recently, the United Sates imposed a serious ban to prevent the entrance of Europeans – especially from the affected region – to the country from the continent.
The World Health Organisation also recognises the fact that the continent is at present the epicentre of the virus outbreak.
It is a worrisome fact that the disease is rapidly spreading in the continent. What it exposes is the flaws in the present mechanism in the continent to prevent the spread of the disease.
Europeans are known for their interest in travelling.
It seems that a serious social campaign is needed to bring the situation under control in the continent of Europe.
Apart from Italy and Spain, Germany and France are the worst affected. When more than 2000 cases each have been reported from Germany, France and Spain, above 15000 cases have been reported from Italy – the worst hit region in the Europe.
It is high time to develop a solution to the issue.
